Frigid Weather Is Headed to the Garden State

New Year’s Eve was anything but calm in the Garden State. As 2024 came to a close, we were met with a fierce storm, bringing strong winds, rain, lightning, and thunder. It was certainly a stormy end to the year.

We were out at Holiday In The Park at Six Flags in Jackson, where the festivities were fun and lively. However, as the night drew to a close, the weather took a turn for the worse. Most of us ran for the exits as the rain, lightning, and thunder rolled in. I can only imagine how those standing for hours in Times Square felt. There were probably a lot of soggy diapers in Midtown for sure!

As we move into the new year, it seems that cold weather is setting in across the state. With the arrival of frigid temperatures, it’s important to prepare for winter weather. Make sure to bundle up and stay informed about the conditions, as the cold can impact our daily activities.

Though the stormy weather on New Year’s Eve was a challenge, it also reminds us of the beauty in transitioning to a new year. Here’s hoping that 2025 brings us sunnier and more pleasant days ahead!
